Documentation, Reference Materials and Tutorials for Imagely
The Miscellaneous tab holds a few site-wide options: Media RSS, the permalink slug used in gallery and album web addresses, and some limits for image queries and random galleries.
To open it:
Changes save on their own. You’ll see a “Settings saved automatically” message after each change. There is no Save button.
When it’s on, your page source includes a line like this:
<link id=’MediaRSS’ rel=’alternate’ type=’application/rss+xml’ title=’NextGEN Gallery RSS Feed’ href=’https://example.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/src/Legacy/xml/media-rss.php’ />
The Clear image cache button has moved to the Reset Options tab.
Clearing the cache removes all resized and cached copies of your images. NextGEN Gallery makes new copies the next time they’re needed. This is helpful after you add or change a watermark, when the watermark doesn’t show up right away.
Your original images are not touched.
The Do not enqueue FontAwesome option is no longer on the Miscellaneous tab. It’s on a settings screen that isn’t listed in the Settings menu. You can open it directly at:
https://your-site.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=imagely-settings&tab=hidden
Look for the FontAwesome section.
Only turn this on if your theme or another plugin already loads FontAwesome. If nothing else loads it, gallery icons may not show up correctly.
