WPML is the largest WordPress translation plugin available, so we are very happy to share that NextGEN Gallery is all fully compatible with WPML.
As of NextGEN Gallery 2.0.66.27 your galleries will work fantastico (fantastic). Now you can organize and display your galleries in your language, without worry about rotura (breakage).

WPML compatibility is also complete and included in the next updates to NextGEN Plus and NextGEN Pro due out soon.
This is not really the truth. Nextgen is not very compatible with WPML. In fact it is not possible to translate texts on uploaded pictures. Quite worthless.
It sounds like you’re looking for a feature outside of what a normal WPML compatibility would do. You’re welcome to request image EXIF translation here.
