We’ve enhanced the NextGEN Gallery uploader to be lighter, faster, and extendable.
The uploader can perform up to 500% faster than the previous uploader, depending on:
- Whether you are on a shared server, cloud server, VPS server, or dedicated server
- Active plugins that impact front and backend performance
The new uploader is built with future-thinking technology in mind, like jQuery 3.5.1, just as the Imagely Theme does.
One of the other ways we achieved this is by uploading your images in parallel instead of individually.
